Quote rotator not showing quotes!

I added the widget and this initially showed a message saying there were no quotes. It took AGES to find where to add quotes. The instructions say: Adds section under Manage tab to create and edit content.

There is no ‘Manage’ tab. The quotes are added under Posts.

I added some OK. If you add an author, you get the ‘insufficient permissions’ message.

I visited the plugin site, but this seems to be for a different plugin altogether.

This would be a great little plugin if these niggles ironed out!
