Page name and Category name are the same… url breaks
-
I have a wordpress site that has a blog page named “activities” it is a top level menu item. I also have a category named “book club” which appears as sub menu under “activities”. My question is how do I make it so that the URL for my “activities” page is https://mydomain.com/activities AND the URL for my “book club” category page is https://mydomain.com/activities/book-club?
I am using the “WP No Category Base” plugin to remove “/category/” from the url so I don’t get “https://mydomain.com/category/book-club/”
If I try and create a category called “activities” and make it the parent of “book club” my URL for “activities” breaks and no longer goes to the “activities” page.
With my current set up a have been able have “https://mydomain.com/activities” point to my “activities” page and “https://mydomain.com/book-club/” point to my “book club” category page but I want “https://mydomain.com/activities/book-club/” to point to my “book club” category page.
Any help would be greatly appreciates.
