wp super cache not clearing old archives

    I was having a nice time with your plugin.

    Now I have noticed that archives are cached but never deleted. I have enabled preload every 2 days. When ever a visitor hits an archive page such as category, month etc they are super cached, but they are not cleared after 2 days.

    What should I do so that archives are also cleared and re-cached at regular intervals?

    My current settings:

    Use mod_rewrite to serve cache files: on
    Expiry Time & Garbage Collection: 3600 sec
    mobile device support: on
    cache rebuild: on
    preload: on
    Refresh preloaded cache every 2880 min

    all other setings are off.

    Please help..

    Wp-cache is working fine. The problem is with WP-super-cache. It doesn’t expire at all. It only preloads. As the archives are not preloaded and never expire, they are never regenerated once super cached.

    The archives should be cleared as the preload process does a “garbage collection” of old files after preload. This is supposed to delete those files.
