Tricky question please help – about post titles…

  • Hi,

    You know when ever you publish a post on wordpress, once it has been cought by google, in the search engine results always shows the title of the post plus the title of the website.

    for example: the post in called “top natural acne products”

    the site is titled “acne treatments”

    so in google this shows…..

    “top natural acne products | acne treatments”

    My question is…. is their anyway you can make google just show the post title instead of both titles. Google does this with page titles, but not post titles….

    Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated ??

  • You need to edit your theme header.php

    In the <head> section of the page there has to be

    <title>something</title>

    You have to edit that “something” an delete site description.

    Post the content of header.php here if you need further help.
