[Plugin: Highslide 4 WordPress *reloaded*] Page load time

Hi,

the problem on this is that Highslide acrtually use javascript to determine if its called or not. So judging if its used or not is currently only possible by loading it. I will try to add a php code estimation as optional feature for future versions but this would require the webmaster to run a kind of page cache to get a speed improvement.

Btw: If you use a CDN for JS delivery for your page it doesnt affect the pageload negatively because in 90% its a 304 cache access without any impact to the pageload times.

Perhaps, an optional is_singular() would do the trick.
The Coral CDN might be useful for anybody in America. Here in Europe the loading time of my sites explodes to something like 12 seconds with the occasional peak of 24.2 seconds.

Yeah coral CDN was a great idea of a open CDN but its so ... slow sometimes so thats why it`s just an option ?? Most bigger webpages use their own CDN provider.

regarding the is_singluar: I will have a look on the weekend maybe there is a better option because time to time you also have images on the frontpage. Some Blogs using full post display (without readmore link) on the frontpage. But as said I will check if I find a solution.
