Adding a Plugin to use utalise a page

Hi Guys,

I’m new to plugin development but have been using wordpress for quite some time. I want to develop a little plugin that will add functionality to my pages.

Basically, when you create or edit a page I want to have a plugin that will allow the user to add a start_date, description and price along with it also. Theroy being, a page can be a course, so if the user creates a page called “Photoshop” I want them to be able to add in a list of dates and prices against that page.

I’m just looking for some guidance and pointing in the right direction with this. I think I can handle the database stuff fine, it’s juts getting my head around how I create a little widget panel that will appear in the new page area, allowing the user to keep adding dates and prices against a page.
