Site Error 404 Page Not Found

  • I set up my word press site and was editing content, then all of a sudden the page could not be found after I logged out of editing. I have no idea what happened. I checked all the database settings, but nothing will work. Furthermore, when I try to connect to my FTP via Filezilla it won’t connect to the server either, but when I connect manually via my hosting site it will.

    I have no idea what happened. One moment I am updating a custom header and it works great, the next moment I try and show my boss the updates and the site can not be found. Please help.

  • Sounds like a DNS issue. I would check the DNS records on your domain hoster and make sure all the information is typed in correctly.

    I’m not sure what the problem is or why this is re-occurring problem. I went in and deleted the old wp-config file and uploaded the same version and then it worked. But this is the 3rd time I have had to do this. I’m not sure why it keeps happening.
