Getting posts to automatically appear on a page

So my site is supposed to be an online magazine. I want new posts to show up automatically on the pages I’ve created, not just show up on the home page. I found a code that allows me to put posts on my pages, but it screws up the formatting of posts. The code I’m using requires double brackets like this – [[]] – and in between should be the post number at the end of the permalink. If anyone knows how to help me, I would really appreciate it.
