Search returns

  • I have over 50 posts on tips to remove blood stains from garments, e.g. wool, rayon, silk, etc. but when I search for blood stains I only get the most recent 10 posts, is there a way to expand the return to include all post that have “blood stains” in the title and in a random order?

    If you only get the most recent posts, Relevanssi isn’t active. Relevanssi doesn’t sort the posts by date. Check your search results template to see if there’s a call to query_posts().

    Thank you for your timely response – No there isn’t a query_posts() in the search results template … I actually don’t know if it is displaying the most recent but I do know that it is not returning ALL of the posts that start off “How to remove blood stains from ….”

    Change the number of search results displayed from the Reading settings.

    However, I’d probably do a some sort of index page that would list all the blood stain entries in some controlled and easy-to-use manner and direct the search to that page.
