Profile and post link error

I was using custom permalinks but changed back to default….Its still the same problem

Yeah mate. Sorry, I should have stated that while this works now [thanks a lot] it still does not take you to the users page! It redirects to the homepage! this happens with the post too [when you click post title or read more link]

check your plugins and all your settings under the Settings page.

Are you using multisite at all?

I’ll check plugins now…..have actually deactivated ones I didn’t need and that were causing some earlier problems. At the moment, not running multisite
