new user registration

  • I get a ton of emails stating a new user registration. I have already

    • uncheck the Anyone can register box in Administration > Settings > General.
    • gone into PHPadmin and changed new user registration to no
    • installed the plugin Bad Behavior
    • installed the plugin SI Captcha

    And yet I still get emails. I woke up one morning to 51. I have over 6000 comments and really don’t want to take the time to delete. I liked having my visitors leave comments but the extra effort is not worth it.

    What else can I do? I’ve searched the forums and all the topics are closed yet not solution provided. Thank you!
