Indicating user name as part of the blog display

Hello, I’m a new user to WordPress. I’m trying to figure out if there is a setting somewhere in administration that shows the user name of the poster when they post the message as part of the blog entry. Maybe it would appear under the title of the entry? I don’t know if a setting such as this exists or how to activate it.

Can anyone help?
