Modifying template to only show 3 most recent posts

  • Hey all,

    Quick question about a website that I am working on:

    I am trying to modify the template so that in the Recent Updates section, only the 3 most recent updates get displayed. Right now, it displays all all of the posts that I add.

    After that’s done, I’d like to create a page where ALL of the posts are listed.

    Any ideas how to do this?

    OK, I so went into Settings > Reading, and set the blog pages show at most 3 posts.

    That takes care of only showing the 3 most recent posts on the front page.

    Now, however, I’d like to know whether it’s possible to insert a blog into another page, i.e. if a user clicks the “News” page, it’ll show them all of the blog posts…

    Got it all figured out. Turns out the theme I am using has that feature built in ??
