Could you provide a link to that post?

The code which appears ([caption] ?), isn’t a shortcode supported by some plugin? Because all other (html) tags should be removed.

If the problem is related to shortcodes, you may try below suggestion. I haven’t tested it yet, but it should work.

File upprev.php, line #51, change from:
$content = preg_replace('/<[^>]*>/s','',$posts[$i]->post_content);
to
$content = preg_replace('/<[^>]*>/s','',apply_filters('the_content', $posts[$i]->post_content));
