Inserting image after menu item in header area

  • I am trying to insert an image (my favicon) after each menu item (except the last menu item). I have tried many different methods, and nothing has worked. What is the best way to do this? I have looked on these forums and someone suggested adding

    But I had no success with that. Also, downloaded a widget and tried adding a widget area to header, but I am in over my head (plus many have said the widget doesn’t even work for them). Any suggestions to a novice? My site is ecbloom.com (header is blurry too, just another issue I need to resolve). Thank you!

    My website is https://ecbloom.com and I think I am going to try to add the widget to bring in the image (unless anyone has an easier way). I registered my widget areas in the functions.php file and added the widget area. The tutorial then said to “Save a copy of your page.php and give it a different name. Then add this to the top so that WordPress recognizes it as a new page template:” This is where I get confused. Since I am adding this to the menu, do I need to put code into the page.php, or should it go into the header.php? Thanks!
