Migrating from WordPress.com keeping domain name

hi everyone!

after i’ve exported my old blog and imported it to a self-hosting account using a temporary url, how exaclty do i map it to the domain name which i purchased through wordpress.com?

i’m using a temporary url for the new installation atm, and would like to map it to my domain only after i set up the theme and make all the old posts show correctly.
