Not sure what I did

I only recently started my blog at https://www.gradologyblog.com. Everything was running smoothly until I wanted to upgrade to the latest WP update about a month ago. I contacted my friend who is hosting the site through a hosting service he subscribes to because I wanted to backup my database before running the update. He gave me a link to a Plesk login. All I did was login to Plesk, click on the databases link, and then clicked gradologyblog.com. I then went to checkout my site later on and nothing happens. I can’t even access the wp-admin page. Nothing comes up at all.

I have tried a number of different things after doing a few Google searches. My developer friend is ridiculously bogged down with a project, so I don’t want to keep bugging him about it. Unfortunately I don’t know all that much about it, but I am good at following directions. Any idea what I might have done to cause the site to disappear like it has? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
