customisable email form content

hey,

I’m desperately trying to find a plugin that can emulate the behaviour of Web Assist’s Universal Email plug in for Dreamweaver. It sets up an email return from an existing form, as opposed to everything that I can find for WordPress so far – they just set up email forms. Universal Email allows me to set up the subject of the email using field entries – this is essential for my work flow. Does anyone know of any plug ins that can do this? I’m looking at Gravity Forms, but I’d rather not buy it and then discover that it can’t. I’ve asked their support but they’re in the States and I’m in the UK, so just checking other avenues whilst I wait for them to wake up, brush their teeth, etc and get into work!

Any help/ideas gratefully received.
