• When I limit the Custom Field Template by “Category ID”, the custom field template doesn’t show up in a post that already has a category ticked in the checkbox.

    For example, I have a previously published post I want to edit and when I go into it, the Custom Field Template doesn’t show up. However, when I untick the category the post is in, then re-tick it’s category checkbox, the Custom Field Template appears.

    Has anyone experienced this issue? Thoughts/solutions?

    I have the same problem. WordPress 3.2.1 / CFT 1.9.4

    I don’t understand exactly how, but the problem gone away. At first, I had this problem. Then I just turned this option off. Then i wrote Category ID-s again – this time the Custom Field Template didn’t dissapear from posts in this categories.

    But when I try to add new post, there is no Template at first but when I add category checkbox – Template appears. It seems that we have to re-checked category checkbox after we add Category ID-s in Settings.
