Pages Vanishing in my WordPress Blog

  • PAGES ARE VANISHING on some of my wordpress blogs. On one blog, the same page vanishes every day. This poses a real problem because its tied to an Adwords Ad and it thus keep breaking the terms of Service with Google and I am risking a loss of this account!

    The same thing has happened on another blog, but not as frequently. I have contacted my hosting provider and they have no idea what is causing this and the log reveals nothing in relation to this.

    PLEASE HELP!

    (For some reason I posted this earlier and when I went back, it said that that this had been closed by WordPress. Why is that? I didn’t close it nor say that it had been resolved. Is someone trying to hide something here?)

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – checking/repairing your database.

    Your first post was simply caught in the forum’s automated spam filter – as was this one. I’ve now released the later one and deleted the first one.

    I will try what you say but first I will deactivate all but 8 plugins that I don’t think I can live without. If that still doesn’t work I will eliminate them all.

    But what is baffling to me is that I have the same plugins and template on all of my sites, why would it react this way to this one and why only one page?
