[Plugin: 1 Flash Gallery] Upload Images – Fatal error

  • Just installed this plugin and when, everything seems to work fine, but when I’m clicking ‘upload images’ it shows fatal error.
    Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'FB_FacebookRestClientException' with message 'Invalid API key' in /home/my_host/domains/my_domain/public_html/wp-content/plugins/1-flash-gallery/includes/facebookapi_php5_restlib.php:3003

  • Same issue here, it just started within the past few days. API key rejected by Facebook? Why is this even built into it, unless the developer uses it to track installations through Facebook?

    Just installed the plug-in and I am getting the same error. Hopefully they fix this asap or I’ll have to use a different gallery plug-in.

    OK I’ve got a workaround for you, even though I’m not one of the developers. If you want the file, go here:

    Place the file fgallery.php into this folder:

    wp-content/plugins/1-flash-gallery/

    What I did was comment out line 50, 67, and remove 477-558, essentially removing facebook connectivity from the code. You will need to ftp to your site to upload this, or alternatively, copy and paste from the php file into the plugin editor, choose fgallery and the file fgallery.php.

    Hi guys,

    The problem was solved. The nearest update has another Facebook API. We just wanted to add ability to import photos from Facebook accounts but old API doens’t work properly anymore.

    Hi, I have also had the same problem and no longer am able to upload images. Please can you help me get around this – I tried the coding side but did not work for me.

    I have version 1.0.7 and I also have the arai update. This is for a client so needs to be sorted ASAP.

    We’ve fix t in the new version

    I do uoload images
    I do create a gallery
    i add images
    i do “embed code” in a new post.

    result; all I see is a black box with the thumbs position
    but no images and no thumbs

    could someone help?
