• I am looking for a plugin that allows me to list all my old posts for a specific month and then klick on a check box on the right of each individual post that I want to delete, and then delete a multiple posts with one click. Just I can do on Yahoo mail.

Does such a plugin exist, and if so, is it safe?

  • Email is not WordPress or web page design….anything. Apples and Lumber. Both come from trees but no connection.

First of all, why do you want to delete your posts. Why not let them fade off into the archives for future reference. They don’t really add size much to your database. But if space is a serious consideration, and you are prolific, I tried to find a plugin and couldn’t do to this, but someone might come up with one if you “ask nice” in the Plugin section of the forum and explain why. But that’s a “maybe”.

I recommend, either way, that you get Coldforged’s Enhanced Post View plugin that allows you a LOT of control over your Manage Post view in your Admin, though mass deletes aren’t on the list. As this is a work in process, you might ask. Still, even with WordPress and no plugin you just view the Manage Post screen and click DELETE over to the right of the screen on any post you want gone. It will ask you Are You Sure and you say yes and it’s gone for good. And I mean GOOD. Fast and easy.

I’ve got post/articles from 1995 on my site and I’m fairly prolific and switching from static HTML to WordPress, I shrunk my file space size down over 60%, just for information.
