    Hello,

I know this is a very popular query but I’ve reviewed loads on posts and still am unable to find a solution to the issue I am having. I am using WordPress ver 3.1 and Indore theme 1.0.1.

In a nutshell, the data I enter (ie. titles, tag lines, description etc) in All in one SEO pack settings is not showing up in google’s title and description of my site.

After much head-wrecking research,I’ve come to the conclusion that the problem is due to a conflict with one of the templates .php. I’ve already tried deactivating all other plugin’s individually, reinstalling All in one SEO and tried Platinum SEO but to no avail.

So I guess my question is which template to I need to adjust and how? Most say header.php but I’ve already tried that by deleting the following:

    <meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”<?php bloginfo(‘html_type’); ?>; charset=<?php bloginfo(‘charset’); ?>” />

but still no joy. I read in two other posts that in some themes you have to adjust the functions.php somehow and yet in another I believe it’s something to do with the main index template.php and how it retrives the header info. Any suggestions before I check myself in to the looney bin?
