This is a bit embarrassing as I am sure it is a super basic WordPress thing but I have been struggling for the last 40 minutes so I figured it’d be quicker just to ask…! It’s been a long day!

I want a static page as my Home page (easy, done) but I want a ‘Blog’ main menu item with all the posts within.

The easiest way to do this is obviously to set up a ‘Blog’ category, place everything within and add category to Custom Menu in the back-end, but this adds an ‘Archive of blog category’ at the top.

I know I can delete this from the category.php but surely there should be a simpler way to do this without having to edit themes etc??
