Text area disappears in post edit window

  • Just this morning, the edit window in posts has disappeared and I get a dialog “text area not found” displays. I’m using the most recent version of firefox and current WP installations,all plugins current and nothing new addded over the past day or so. Worked fine up until now.
    I’m planning to do a complete reinstall but am wondering if anyone else has had this, and/or come up with a solution. Also going to check plugins to see if there’s something on there.

    I’ve pinned it down to Slidepress, but I’m not sure why. AS soon as I turn it off the tect bo reappears. I haven’t changed anything else at this end – anyone else having this problem?
