Static Posts page displaying index.php intead of assigned page

  • So I was making a custom theme and wanted one page to show up as home (page_home.php) and one as the posts page (page_news.php) . Not I created two pages including the two templates. But only the home is working, the posts page is showing index.php instead of page_news.php .

    What could be the problem ?
