Post Category/Time in Post Title

  • Hi guys,
    I would like to be able to put the Post’s Category and Time Posted in the Post’s Title. I tried posting the php codes into the post title field and it looks like that isn’t supports. I also tried the “Auto Post Title” plugin but it doesn’t support the category part.

    Any suggestions?

    can you post the code of the section where you want to add the category and time?
    (please use the https://pastebin.com/ if the code is longer than a few lines)

    is that just when you output the title in the loop? (front page, single post?)

    basically, I would like the enable shortcodes in the “post title input field”

    so when creating a new post, in the “post title input field”, I could input “[category]” and the post would be titled by its category if that make sense
