What are basic settings in php.ini for new instalations?

  • What should the basic setting be to get WP up and running? I know php.ini is for php 4 and php5.ini in the root is for php5 but are both needed or…?? Something got screwed up when I swapped files on my godaddy hosting and I cannot get WP to work again, as soon as I try to activate a plugin (e-commerce) I get parse, syntax or fatal errors

    Can someone please give me a basic ini file to try?

  • You should contact your host to get your php.ini files restored to their defaults.

    I already have a support ticket going but I don’t have allot of faith in Godaddys support team which is why I was hoping that someone could give me either a basic or optimized file so I have something to compare with mine.
