Media Uploader Not Working

  • I built a wordpress site within a folder on my old site. Once I got it finished I moved the files to the root directory. Everything moved fine, had to change some image refs, but otherwise everything worked.

    But now the media uploader gives me an error when I try to insert a new image into a post. The error is:

    “picturefilename.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error
    The uploaded file could not be moved to D:\…\…/wp-content/uploads/2011/04

    Not sure what the problem is, checked permissions and they are correct. Any ideas?
