[Plugin: eShop] Eshop wierd character in pagination

I have set up eshop on my site. When i added products and product categories, the pagination buttons show a wierd “?” character. I tried disabling all my other plugins to find the culprit but the “?” still remained.

My next thought was that i accidentally inserted the character myself so i replaced the eshop files with fresh files from the download but the wierd character still remains.

The only eshop files I modified was the css file in the uploads folder. I have no clue why this is happening and I need to resolve it asap. HELP!!
