Reinhardt is timely for me as well

I recently found out that the latest WordPress version is named after Django Reinhardt and I wanted to tout my blog MonthlyBrand.com because it’s a bit relevant. I run this blog with the intent of fabricating a fictitious company every month and building a brand for them.

I am a graphic designer living and working in New York City, and this is a means to exercise my craft with the goal of building my portfolio and keeping my senses and skills sharp.

The relevant part is that this month, completely coincidentally, I named the invented company Reinhardt after the jazz musician. It’s a radio company that makes vintage style radios but is also compliant with modern technology. The company won’t be as important as the brand I design for it, since that is the point of the project, but it’s just a nice serendipity that I thought I’d tout.
