• Hello,

    Posted a new advertisement, now I notice a gray bar going across the top of the leaderboard. You can see this by going here, https://www.realestateexecutives.ca. I want to remove this gray bar to make it look clean.

    Using the widgets/text/header this is what my coding looks like,

    <!-- Begin Energy Advantage 730x90 Ad -->
    <a href="https://www.energyadvantage.com//content/view/238/142/lang,en/?utm_source=REENmorguard-mar11&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=emc-REENmorguard-mar11" title="Energy Advantage"><img src="https://www.realestateexecutives.ca/wp/wp-content/REEN-Morguard-leaderboard-mar28-apr8.jpg" border="0" align="left" width="728" height="90" style="margin-top: 15px;"></a>
    <!-- End Energy Advantage 730x90 Ad -->

    I want to keep the banner in line with the top of the text that says “Real Estate Executives” so adjusting the margin-top: 15px;” is not an option, as I have already tried that. It moves the advertisement above the Real Estate Executives Text.

    I think the designated advert box that was created is larger than the ad itself, which is creating a white space above. I guess this is why I am compensating with the ‘margin-top: 15px;”

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you.

  • Add:

    div.suf-widget {
        border:none;
    }

    to the bottom of your theme’s stylesheet.

    Thanks for the post, but I am an employee of this site trying to help out the owner. Changing code in the sites style sheet is a bit over my head and I wouldn’t want to make a change that would screw things up.

    I was hoping I could find a change to the code that I provided that would fix the gray bar.

    Sorry – that’s not possible. It’s a CSS issue.

    Updated my Suffusion 3.7.8 style sheet and now I am left with a gray box in the header portion of the site. Any ideas how to revert that gray box to white?

    In suffusion options I see ‘Theme Skinning’ and I have the choice of changing the color in ‘Top navigation Menu’ ‘Header’ and ‘Main Navigation Menu’ which is the corresponding field?

    You can see what I mean about the gray box here, https://www.realestateexecutives.ca

    Thank you!
