Sub-site pages duplicated in main site

  • I have a network of 9 sites in sub-directories on WordPress 3.1.

    Administrators are posting pages on sub-sites. When they hit publish, the identical pages also appear within the main site, accompanied by custom fields that re-direct to the sub-site url.

    The problem started immediately after the upgrade to WP 3.1.

    Has anyone experienced this problem? Any ideas on the origins?
