    Hi,
I just installed p2 theme. I like how the edit link produces a quick edit box in place. However, I would like to add a second link to edit a post the “normal” way in the admin area. (Assuming, of course, I am logged in and have permission to edit the post.) It would be nice to go directly to the edit post page instead of navigating to Posts / Edit in WP admin.

In entry.php I see the echo for get_edit_post_link. However, it seems perhaps there is javascript that alters the functionality of this link? How would I add a second link that does go directly to the edit post page in the admin area?

    Thanks for any help!

Ah… found the answer myself. ?? All I had to do was alter the class on the <a> for my “edit in admin area” link. There is a js file applying the inline editing functionality to class .edit-post-link
