Hello all… I need some help. I am not currently using WP, but my posts (word for word) and without any credit going to me (the author) are being displayed for all to see here: https://home-schooling.found-here.info/?p=3090

Notice these posts are identical to mine which are found here: https://www.thehomeschoolingblog.com

What can I do? I depend on my Adsense revenue to help pay for my son’s therapy (has autism) and this type of thing could hurt me. It’s identicle content, with adsense ads running on two sites. Not to mention this is theft.

Who can I report this to? I don’t see a contact on this person’s blog. Big surprise.

This is the 3rd time I’ve found this type of theft in the past 12 months and I’d love to know what I can do to prevent it.

Not much. If it’s on the internet, it will get nicked. You can try to sort out the webhost and complain to them.

1. Go to whois and find the hosting company.

2. Report the web scraper to the host since it violates their TOS.

Try and get them banned from Google:

Notify WordPress of the plagiarism, as well. Not sure what avenue to take for that.

You can interlink your posts, report his site to google (Click here) , send his host an Abuse Notice and can also ask him to delete the post.

Mind – ALL of that only works if the people who run the site care :/ A lot of them really don’t. Google usually catches the scrapers.

Notify WordPress of the plagiarism, as well. Not sure what avenue to take for that.

DO NOT DO THIS.

WordPress.COM hosted sites, yes, you do that. www.remarpro.com sites you CANNOT and SHOULD NOT bug them about this. Why? Cause there are NO rules abotu what you can use www.remarpro.com self-hosted software for. You can use it for porn if you wanna (just flag your site NSFW if you post for help here).
