Bug report : Falsely more recent autosaved post

Hello,

This isn’t an actual problem for me, however I thought I could take two minutes to report a bug that is… bugging me, precisely, since the WP3.1 update.

About 20-30% of the time, when I click my edit button to edit a blog post, I’m displayed this message on top of my editor :

There is an autosave of this post that is more recent than the version below. View the autosave

However, this is wrong, there is not a more recent version.

Comparing the post versions simply shows me wordpress finds the wrongly more recent version is exactly the same post, with just an additional space character in the end.

This is only a petty small hindrance and I’m NOT requesting for help against it, however, I believe bug reports are also a part of helping the WordPress team ??
