  • I am having the same problem on WP3.1. Unable to change user settings, add pages, widgets or even upgrade to WP3.2.1. I have checked with my host and no changes there, full permissions granted…bla bla bla.

This seems to be a long running issue with WP as some of the forums date back years. Has there been a fix for this yet?

    Yes. Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

yes. ended up re-installing site and starting from scratch. Not happy about that.
