• Ooookay. So earlier today, I changed my domain under General Settings. I goofed while changing it. At that point, I couldn’t access the Dashboard anymore. I attempted to follow the instructions on the Codex for changing the domain through functions.php. It half worked. I could get my homepage to load, but not any internal pages. I figured that restoring my last WordPress backup should fix things. It didn’t. Exact same problem. Note that, like a dummy, I didn’t backup my database — just the WordPress files. So I’m guessing the domain change also changes something in the database? And now I have to figure out how to change it back? HALP! ??

  • Go to phpMyAdmin, click on database name, click on wp_options, change the url on line 2 and probably line 38.

siteurl is on line 1 and it’s already correct. home is on line 37 and it’s also already correct.

Wow, that’s really weird. I turned off pretty permalinks and now it’s working.
