Sharedaddy and Print Friendly

  • Hi when I have both Print Friendly and Sharedaddy showing on my page, clicking Print from the sharedaddy icons will automatically open up the print friendly screen, however when I disable the Print Friendly option to output its buttons on posts, the functionality is removed and Sharedaddy opens a normal print dialog box. I love print friendly’s print formatting functionality and would like to use it with share daddy, how can i do that?

  • I had the same issue but solved it.

    1. I chose the manual option for print friendly.
    2. added the manual code in the single.php
    3. wrapped a div with class print around the php code
    4. in the style.css I added .print { display:none;}

    that should do the trick.
