  • I don’t live in New Zealand (my sister does though), but its still disappointing to see no debate on the Flatulence (hard to refrain from using the customary 4 letter word) Tax.

    The “Debate this topic” box should be a lot smaller imho… it takes a lot of precious space, too much of it imo. If you have like 12 posts on the frontpage, you’ll have to scroll 10mins before you’ll get to the bottom.

    Otherwise can’t comment much on the rest, it’s just default Kubrick…

    There are no other themes that would fit the website type.

    in my opinion WP is not the best publishing platform for a “debate” site. Try to use phpBB or PunBB …

    I have used a forum before but they are too big and too hard to customise. I was looking at a more simple article publishing system which can add custom fields. I have not found how to add a custom field to WordPress in the default post.

    Bump… I have redesigned the site from the “classic” theme and have modified it quite a lot.

    I appreciate your comments.
