• I’m using the Boldy theme for my site & I want to limit the categories that are displayed on the portfolio page. If you visit the site & look at the drop down menu for Portfolio that is how I have the categories set up & how I would like them to display.

Main Portfolio page – Only display Hair & MakeUp
Hair Portfolio page – Display categories that are subcategories of Hair
MakeUp Portfolio page – Display categories that are subcategories of MakeUp.

Essentially the main portfolio page will end up displaying all posts but I don’t want the categories listed at the top, if that makes sense.

The reason for this is, as you see, there are so many categories that they are running into other text on the page & it looks awful.

    Site address is https://revamp.brooklynnstudios.com/blog2

    Portfolio page code is

Ok so I was able to figure out how to limit it to only show the Hair & MakeUp on the main portfolio page. Is there a way that when Hair or MakeUp is selected that it would then show the children of those categories? Right now only MakeUp has subcategories (children). The way the page is set up it shows the same thing on Hair & MakeUp as it does on the Portfolio page. Thanks again for any help.

Ok so I think I’ve figured out what I want/need to do but I don’t understand the coding enough. If anyone knows how to create an if/then statement where it would state, if this category then show it’s children, if another category then it’s children, etc. The code for the page is above. Thanks!
