Can not upload old blog after hd crasch

Recently I wanted to move a once working blog from and old hard disk to my new hard disk. Unfortunately i deleted the old database name, username and password.
When I uploaded all the old files and the wp-config file with a new
data basename to my server with new
name,username and passwords
I got a message saying
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/bointer3/public_html/panoramapics.com/myexbackagain/wp-config.php on line 1.

I am not a programmer – can Anybody tell me what’s wrong?
