Adding post to blog

  • Hi, I recently created a site in wordpress with several pages; One being the blog page. Initially I thought that I could just write and add images to that page via page edit. I just tried the create post which creates a post in the blog roll. Now my question is, should it appear on the blog page that I created?? If not what to do I do with the blog page that I created?

    I think that I’m going wrong on how this all works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
