[Plugin: Simple Facebook Connect] Facebook comments into WP database

  • Does SFC store any of the data (like’s, comments, etc) in the WP database. I was just thinking that it would be nice to be able to use this data in some way (list of most liked/commented post) or in case you migrate your data til another CMS or if FB goes belly up and gets bought by Diaspora ??

    No, it doesn’t store that data locally.

    You could write something to get like counts and such every so often and update local information, but the amount of polling FB for it would be high (you have to hit up FB for each post, so it might take a lot of updating to keep the info current).
