Public page not loading, can get into admin side

    I am new to wordpress. I have just install version 3.1 onto a windows server. The install went fine as far as I can tell. I am able to log into the admin side of the site but when I try to goto the public side it just sits there and does not load. I get no error messages or anything. I am hoping this is just an easy fix or if someone can point me into the right direction.
