[Plugin: PhotoContest Plugin] Alternative registration method?

  • Is there any way to remove the requirement that a user be registered with a site to upload a photo? Ideally we don’t want the extra baggage associated w/registering w/our site to block potential contestants from entering the contest. We’d still need to collection user information for those visitors somehow, but we’re willing to handle that part separately as well.

    Yes, you can.

    Goto wp-admin panel –> PhotoContest –> Config settings and choose — No role — at the ROLE_UPLOAD question.

    The uploader still needs to enter their emailaddress and name, so collecting the details are still possible

    (This can be done even when the contest is already started!!)
