[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Single Picture- Close this picture goes to top of page

When using the single picture feature, i.e. [singlepic id=446 w=320 h=240 float=right] the “close picture” link closes the picture, but also returns the viewer to the top of the page. If I have a single picture near the foot of a long page, is there a way to keep them there when they close the single picture?
(Google Chrome keeps the user where they were, but in Firefox, it bounces them back to the top of the page).
