error when trying to login to admin

    when i try to login into the admin panel i receive this error

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_network_admin() in /home/hawkresi/public_html/wp-admin/admin-header.php on line 16

    website itself appears to be functioning fine.

    any help appreciated.

    i see from another post that it is due to a recent upgrade failure.
    nevermind.
