[Plugin: JJ NextGen JQuery Slider] fit (resize) NextGen image into slider

I’m eager to know about this too. A great option would be either to crop, fill, or resize

Just found : “This plugin uses the original width and height of the image uploaded so make sure the images are the correct dimensions when uploaded”

So we just cant :/

jQuery-cycle is a nice one but does not do exactly what I need ??

I needed to be able to resize images using this plugin so I’ve added that capability using TimThumb.

The changes are in this commit in a fork of the plugin. I’m hoping the author will see this and consider merging these changes.

Sorry to necro-post, but how do you use the files located on github to make the slider resize? I am fairly new to the coding world.

First of all you need to install the updated plugin.

You should be able to find information on how to do that elsewhere but the steps basically are: download a zip from Github (you can find that on the downloads page https://github.com/henare/jj-nextgen-jquery-slider/downloads) and upload that to your WordPress install via the plugins page.

I’m pretty sure that will work but I haven’t tested the process ??

Once you’ve installed that version of the plugin there’s a plugin option like any other to resize the images – it should Just Work.
