I found the problem – because of the conflict with CMS Tree Page View plugin crop did not work!

Can you tell me what browser (version) you are using. Do you get any javaScript errors when you try to crop? When does the error occur?

    Cheers

I tried with both FF and Chrome…

    I get no errors

Can you tell me if you get the arrows that lets you resize the image?

I get the dotted frame and I can resize…
When I click on “Crop image”, I get this message : “Here’s your new profile picture…” and a “Close” button just below, with no pictures. The “Picture” area in the parent page stays empty.

Hmm the problem lies somewhere in the on the backend side.
Can you see where the avatar images get save to? if you right click on the image can you tell what the url looks like. Also are you using multi user or single user for this?

Both picture are correctly saved in “/wp-content/uploads/avatars/#”
The image doesn’t appear on the user management page. But when I uploaded an image the red link “Remove” appears.

I don’t see any line ine the user_meta table in the mysql database. But maybe I miss it…

I run wordpress as a single site and I have 5 registered users as admin.

Thank for the info. What does the url to the image look like?
If you go to it do you see a black squere or do you get text ( error message)?
The location of the image doesn’t get stored in the database.
I am planning to release an update for the plugin soon. and if we can figure out the error that you are having maybe the fix could be included.
